Micro-Blaze Out

Microbial Fire Fighting Foam

Non-toxic and biodegradable, Micro-Blaze Out® is the only patented concentrated microbial fire fighting agent on the market today. Our formulation contains Micro-Blaze® which is listed on the National Contingency Plan Schedule of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

U/L Listed for BOTH Class A and  Class B Fires!

Class A Fires: Mixed at 1/2% to 1%, Micro-Blaze Out offers superior fire fighting capabilities over using water alone or other "wetting" agents.

Class B Fires: Micro-Blaze Out is an environmentally effective alternative to current fire fighting foams (e.g., AFFF). It is applied the same way as typical foam products, and is most effective when used in lower concentrations (2% to 3%).

Advantages Of Micro-Blaze Out vs. Using Conventional Fire Foams:

  • No Danger Of Flashback or Re-ignition
Once Micro-Blaze Out is applied, the foam blanket smothers the fire while its penetrating properties break up the hydrocarbon’s molecular chain, rendering it inflammable.

  • Cleans the Environment
Within minutes of application, Micro-Blaze Out‘s microbial blend starts to digest the hydrocarbon contaminants, converting them into harmless CO2 and water.

  • Requires less water and product
Saves departments time, money and manpower

  • Runoff acceptable at wastewater treatment plants (WTPs)
Micro-Blaze Out does not contain any fluorosurfactants or other toxic ingredients that can cause excessive foaming in WTPs.

How Does Micro-Blaze Out Work?

Micro-Blaze Out's unique properties helps it to not only smother and suppress the fire - it penetrates the liquid substrate and prevents flashback and re-ignition. This unique ability to penetrate the burning hydrocarbons makes Micro-Blaze Out highly effective in rain storms and rolling fuel fires, below:

In the picture below, breaks in conventional fire foam barriers on top of the burning hydrocarbons can release vapors that can build up to dangerous LELs, possibly leading to re-ignition or flashback.

Micro-Blaze Out Plus

Don't let your AFFF become part of your environmental problem.

The  Only  MICROBIAL  AFFF Foam! It Biodegrades And  Cleans  Up  After  Itself!

Micro-Blaze Out Plus® 3% AFFF Foam Liquid Concentrate is U/L - 162 Listed for Hydrocarbon Fires

Micro-Blaze Out Plus® is the only patented microbial AFFF firefighting foam on the market today.  After the fire is out, the microbes begin remediating the AFFF and hydrocarbon wastes.

  • Excellent fluidity creates rapid knockdown

  • Our unique ingredients are quickly biodegraded by Micro-Blaze® microbes

  • Environmentally friendly replacement for current AFFF foams

  • Compatible with all current foam proportioning and delivery systems

  • pH:  6.8  - won't harm plastic or rubber fittings

Description:

Micro-Blaze Out Plus® 3% AFFF Foam Liquid Concentrate is an innovative fire fighting foam that exhibits quick knockdown of hydrocarbon fires and then quickly goes to work degrading the hydrocarbon wastes.  The microbial population start to work within 20 minutes after application.

It is effective on a broad range of hydrocarbon fires that mandate a long lasting foam blanket.  Micro-Blaze Out Plus® is also an excellent vapor suppressant for tank truck and railcar rollovers to help prevent ignition of fuels and other flammable hydrocarbons.

Micro-Blaze Out Plus® AR
The Only MICROBIAL AR-AFFF Foam that  Biodegrades And Cleans Up After Itself!

 Micro-Blaze Out Plus® AR 3% x  3% AR-AFFF Liquid Foam Concentrate

Non-toxic and biodegradable, Micro-Blaze Out PLUS® 3% x 3% AR-AFFF is the only patented concentrated alcohol-resistant microbial fire fighting agent on the market today.  Once the fire is out or the spill is covered with finished foam, the microbes begin remediating the AFFF, hydrocarbon and alcohol wastes.

Micro-Blaze Out Plus® 3% x 3% AR-AFFF is designed for both class B Hydrocarbon and Polar Solvent fuels. On Class B Hydrocarbon fuels, it creates an aqueous film that effectively shuts down the fire.  On Polar Solvent fuels, a polymeric membrane is formed between the fuel and the foam which makes extinguishment possible. U/L-162 listed.

  • Environmentally friendly replacement for current AR-AFFF foams

  • Excellent fluidity creates rapid knockdown

  • Our unique ingredients are quickly biodegraded by Micro-Blaze® microbes

  • Compatible with all current foam proportioning and delivery systems

  • Usable with fresh or sea water

  • Will not clog delivery systems; easy to clean fittings after use

  • Superior wetting characteristics when applied to Class A combustible materials

  • Suitable for use along with dry chemical extinguishing agents

 Physical Properties:

  • Appearance: Viscous light tan color
  • Specific Gravity: 1.015 – 1.055
  • pH: 7.0 – 8.0
  • Viscosity: 2250 – 2750 cps

Storage:

  • In its original unopened containers, the shelf life of Micro-Blaze Out Plus 3% x 3% AR-AFFF should exceed 10 years.

  • Storage conditions should be at a temperature between 35°F and 120°F  [2°C and  49°C].
