MiniCl02 Responder Alarm

Principles of Operation

Audible and visible warnings or alarms are activated when gas concentrations exceed two preset levels. A "Warning" (W) or low alarm is activated when a low concentration of chlorine dioxide is detected. A distinctive pulsing alarm is activated when a higher concentration is detected. This "High Alarm" can only be cleared when the concentration drops below the alarm set point.

Approvals and Standards

ETL (an OSHA NRTL); Class 1; Div. 1; Groups A, B, C and D.

Applications

Chemical
Hazardous Materials
Oil and Gas
Paper & Pulp
Water/Wastewater

Hazards

Nuisance Odor
Toxic Atmosphere IDLH
Toxic Atmosphere Non-IDLH

Product Information

Offers convenient low-level chlorine dioxide monitoring in a variety of applications. Perfect for use in many industries, including chemical, food and beverage, HazMat, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, semiconductor and water/wastewater treatment. The alarm has a 0-6 ppm measuring range, and with only three buttons the alarm is very easy to use. Weighing less than eight ounces and running on a commercially available nine-volt battery, it offers the user the ability to determine peak readings with the press of a button. For user safety, the MiniClO2 Responder Alarm has a specially designed, time-delay power button that must be pressed for five seconds to turn the power off, helping to prevent accidental shutoff during use. Features a lifetime warranty on most components.
