Consist of a polyethylene shell and suspension working together as a protection system. Cap or hat styles, available in three cap sizes, small (6 to 7-1/8 inches), standard (6-1/2 to 8 inches) and large (7-1/2 to 8-1/2 inches) and the hat is 6-1/2 to 8 inches.

Product Information

Feature cooling vents along the crown for improved air circulation, a lightweight design for added comfort, lateral contours above the ear for easy integration of hearing protection, an optional four- or six-point ratchet suspension system with a soft, absorbent sweatband and a Glaregard underbrim to reduce reflective glare. V-Gard advance caps are not specifically designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side or rear. MSA's Vanguard protective helmets must be used if lateral protection is desired. Principles of Operation

MSA uses both single and multi-color imprinting techniques to provide a choice of up to four colors (five if the color of the headwear is included in the design) on a hardhat. Image 2000 service uses a custom imprinting process for reproducing photographic images.

Approvals and Standards

All custom-imprinted headwear meets or exceeds the same applicable requirements of ANSI Z89.1 as non-imprinted headwear. Custom imprinting from MSA will not affect the integrity of the shell.

Product Information

Offers a five-day turnaround after approval of artwork on new logo orders and a reduced minimum quantity of 20 custom-imprinted caps or hats of the same size or model. V-Gard®, Advance™, Topgard®, Thermalgard®, Super V and Vanguard® helmets are available from MSA with your logo or slogan imprinted on the headwear. Using both single and multi-color imprinting techniques to provide a choice of up to four colors (five, if the color of the headwear is included in the design), you select the colors and the areas to be imprinted. The new Image 2000 service uses a custom imprinting process for reproducing photographic images, allowing you to choose a digital file or a photo for scanning. Lightweight, durable Topgard slotted caps and non-slotted hats are built for use by utilities and other industries where head protection from falling objects is necessary along with good dielectric properties (non-conduction of electrical current). Limited resistance to top impact or penetration is retained through a wide range of temperatures. Not designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side or rear. Scalp laceration and abrasion protection

Product Information

Protects the scalp by reducing exposure to abrasions and lacerations caused by minor bumps to the head. Designed for applications in workplaces such as meat packing, food processing, pest control, meter reading and automotive repair. Bump caps are appropriate only for work situations which do not require ANSI-compliant head protection. Durable, molded from high-density polyethylene. Perforated sides allow cross ventilation for better air circulation. Adjustable sizing of 6-1/2 to 8 inches accommodates different head sizes and is easy to use. Cool and lightweight, comfortable and easy to clean due to its smooth surface. Requires no replacement parts. Custom imprinting is available in one color.

WARNING: This bump cap is not a safety helmet and does not meet OSHA or ANSI requirements for head protection. Do not use as a sport safety helmet. Do not use when ANSI-compliant head protection is required or needed.

Used in the mining industry for head protection and featuring a low-crown clearance for work in low-ceiling areas and a lamp bracket and cord holder to support a miner's lamp.

Made of lightweight, tough polycarbonate plastic, the shell resists top impacts. Molded cross ridges on the crown provide increased strength and rigidity. The cap's peak helps protect the wearer's eyes and face from small falling objects. The Comfo-Cap is not designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side or rear. The MSA Super V cap is for sale in the U.S. and Canada.

The MSA Super V cap consists of a shell, foam liner, and suspension system working together to provide limited impact and penetration protection in the event of a top or lateral blow to the head, as well as limited protection against contact with high-voltage conductors. Represents the latest generation of protective headwear and tested for both top and lateral blows. Flame retardant polystyrene foam liner and nylon sideshield absorb lateral impacts. The durable, lightweight polyethylene shell weighs less than one pound. Fits head size ranges 6-1/2 to 7-5/8 inches. Available in choice of Fas-Trac® (ratchet) or 1-Touch suspension. Offers your custom-imprinted logo in up to four separate colors. Add-on accessories are available, such as faceshield frames, visors, chinstraps, ear cups, helmet lights, etc.

WARNING: Super V Helmets provide limited top and lateral impact and penetration protection. They are designed to reduce the effect of an impact or penetration blow, but cannot provide complete head protection. They are designed and tested to comply with the CSA standard and, in most circumstances, should be effective against small tools, bolts, rivets, sparks and similar hazards. However, some conditions can exceed the helmet’s capacity to protect against serious injury or death. Not for use in areas where the chance of severe helmet impact or penetration exists.

For the Super V helmet to function effectively, only MSA’s Fas-Trac or 1-Touch suspension designed for this helmet must be used. Use of other suspensions can reduce the protection provided and result in serious personal injury or death. Velcro (a trademark of Velcro, USA) strips, labels, etc. should never be applied closer than ½ inch from the brim in order to maintain dielectric properties. Do not paint Super V Helmets as paint may jeopardize helmet properties. Never use this helmet as a vehicular, sports or structural firefighting helmet.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS WARNING CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
