Tank Truck Fittings
Petroleum Tanker Products

We offer a complete range of products for the Petroleum industry, including products for use in transfering petroleum to the truck (API Valves and Adapters); to the ground (Drop Elbows and Tight Fill Adapters and Caps); and into the fill tank (a wide range of Nozzles and Above Ground Tank accessories).

Drop Elbows and Accessories
6200 Drop Elbow

Drop elbows connect to the underground tank fill collar on one end and to the tanker drop hose at the other. They allow convenient hose connection and prevent hose damage due to kinks. Bayco elbows are built tough for consistent positive locking using solid Bronze arms with modular construction for easy, low cost maintenance. Locking mechanisms, cam arms and bottom assemblies are interchangeable.

Elbow Inlets are available with 3" or 4" Male Adapter or Female Coupler ends. Inlets bolt on for easy removal or replacement

Inlets must be ordered separately.

Pneumatic & Dry Bulk Tanker Products

Pneumatic and Dry Bulk Tanker Products are designed for use with bulk trailers and blowers for the pneumatic transfer of dry commodities such as powders, grains and plastic pellets.

"Pneuclean" Pneumatic Filtration System
Pneuclean

The Pneucleantm unit is designed to remove microscopic particles generated by blowers during pneumatic conveying of contaminant-sensitive dry bulk products. Contaminants such as Iron and Hydrocarbons are produced by blowers and can adversely affect dry products such as plastic pellets and food materials.

These filter units are typically used on dry bulk tanker trucks and placed after the air intake/blower and before the bulk storage tanker. This in-line pneumatic system is also suitable for industrial applications or wherever microscopic filtration (up to 4 microns) of impurities is required.

Standard units employ 4" inlets and outlets. However, 3" plumbing can be used with available weld-on 4" x 3" female NPT adapters.

Special cartridge-style filter elements have a typical life expectancy of approximately 12 months.

  • In-Line High Volume Air Filtration for 4" Air Lines

  • FDA Medium with 99.99% maximum efficiency at 4 microns

  • Maximum air flow 1000 CFM's

  • Back pressure only .05 PSI\

  • Temperature range -45° to 450°F

  • Average 12 month filter cartridge lifespan

  • Quick release V-clamp for easy inspection

  • Overall weight 16 lbs.

Air / Pressure Relief Valves
Air/Pressure Relief Valves

These safety valves are designed to relieve air pressure at a specific pressure setting (customer specified - typical setting 5-25 PSI). Most models come with Aluminum tops, anti-galling alloy inlets, tamper proof seals, Bronze valves and Rubber diaphragms which protect valve springs from air flow.

Vacuum Relief Valves
Vacuum Relief Valves

These safety valves relieve vacuum (instead of pressure) when exceeding a specific setting. Customers must advise vacuum setting required when ordering - typical setting is 10-18 inches of mercury. Constructed with Aluminum top, anti-galling alloy inlets, Bronze valve and Stainless Steel spring.

Swing Check Valves
Swing Check Valves

These valves allow one way directional flow only. They are used as a protective safety device to prevent flow reversal should back pressure result. They are designed specifically for service with pneumatic equipment which transfer dry bulk commodities.

  • Cast Aluminum bodies with Bronze inspection caps

  • Safety flapper assembly - all flapper assemblies are drilled and pinned and will not come apart

  • Choice of seals: metal-to-metal, Buna or Silicon Rubber seals

  • Choice of models with or without spring loaded flapper

  • Full flow design - flappers swing out of flow path for maximum flow and low resistance

  • Designs with large caps allow flapper repair/rebuild on unit

Overfill Protection Products

API Compatible Optic Sensors
API Compatible Optic Sensors

  • FloTech liquid level sensors and controls are compatible with current API 1004 Bottom Loading Practices, and with the API Optic or "5 wire" signal format.

  • FloTech's Fail-Safe sensor technology ensures reliable and safe operation necessary in the petroleum industry.

  • Other sensor designs use an epoxy seal prone to leakage with age. The FloTech prism design incorporates a petroleum resistant dual active seal. No epoxy is used as a means to seal the prism. The FloTech seal design prevents fouling of the optic prism resulting in high reliability, resist chemical attach, and damage from steam cleaning.

  • Our probe holder is cast Aluminum with a 2" NPT mounting thread, heavy duty Stainless Steel hardware, and Viton seals. Installation in 2" NPT tapping or 2 3/8" hole is possible using a gasket and locking nut provided with the sensor.

  • The FloTech probe holder permits adjustment of the sensor to the shut-off level in each compartment. FloTech probes can be removed and reinstalled through the topside of the probe holder - no tools or loose parts are handled inside the tank compartment.

API Compatible Sockets
API Compatible Sockets

  • FloTech API Compatible Sockets are mechanically and electrically compatible with API RP 1004 Bottom Loading Specification.

  • Socket design is critical for a reliable connection at the load rack. FloTech's sockets are designed to provide reliable service in the most extreme environments found in cargo tank service. FloTech Optic and Thermistor socket faceplates are heat-treated and hardcoated Aluminum alloy to prevent J-slot wear. All hardware and contact buttons are Stainless Steel to prevent corrosion.

  • FloTech sockets are color coded to permit easy identification. Optic sockets are blue, Thermistor green, and Float red.

  • FloTech dust caps contain a unique 6 lug design to permit gripping and removal of the dust cap with an oily glove.

  • Socket faceplates use a standard foot print and are interchangeable with many competitive socket designs. Your maintenance personnel can rebuild all FloTech Sockets. Replacement parts are available from FloTech. FloTech installation instructions show detailed mounting and wiring to all common overfill systems.

  • FloTech sockets are also available in Canadian and European 4 J slot Thermistor configurations.

Retain / Overfill Monitor Systems
Retain / Overfill Monitor Systems

  • FloTech liquid level sensors and controls are compatible with current API 1004 Bottom Loading Practices, and with the 2 wire Optic signal format. FloTech provides a complete Retain / Overfill Monitoring System with Top & Bottom Sensors.

  • FloTech's Fail-Safe sensor technology ensures reliable and safe operation necessary in the petroleum industry.
Other sensor designs use an epoxy seal prone to leakage with age. The FloTech prism design incorporates a petroleum resistant dual active seal. No epoxy is used as a means to seal the prism. The FloTech seal design prevents fouling of the optic prism resulting in high reliability, resist chemical attach, and damage from steam cleaning.

  • Auxiliary inputs to allow vapor or brake set switch to control permissive signal to load rack. Auxiliary inputs are Listed as I.S. so expensive Intrinsically Safe switch are not needed.

  • Our probe holder is cast Aluminum with a 2" NPT mounting thread, heavy duty Stainless Steel hardware, and Viton seals. Installation in 2" NPT tapping or 2 3/8" hole is possible using a gasket and locking nut provided with the sensor.
