Containment Boom |

Various
combinations of flotation diameters, skirt lengths, sizes of
chain ballast, fabric types, and sizes of top tension cable
are available upon request. All Acme Booms can be
manufactured in any lengths to fit specific requirements.

Super Mini Boom

Recommended Section Lengths: 25', 50', and
100'
Area of Use: Super Mini Booms
are recommended as sweeping devices to aid in the
removal of oil on water when a prevailing wind or
current does not exist or is counter-productive to
efficient removal. The Super Mini Boom is deployed
around the oil and then moved to reduce the coverage
area, increasing the oil thickness for more
efficient recovery by a vacuum hose or floating
skimmer. Super Mini Booms are effective containment
devices on small streams, creeks, stock ponds and
low water areas. |

Boom Accessories |
| OFFSHORE
ANCHOR SYSTEM
Flex Coupler
includes stainless steel lock nuts, bolts, washers, and a
pre-punched neoprene rubber gasket to provide a positive
seal. The flex coupler is used for permanent or
semi-permanent installations when connecting sections of
containment boom.
Aluminum
Quick-Latch Couplers with stainless steel toggle pins and
quick-latch tow/tie-off bridles provide a fast and efficient
method for containment boom deployment particularly when
several sections are joined together. These couplers and
bridles produce the best means of connection by evenly
distributing the tension placed on the ends of each boom
section.
